amx, chargebacks, and online casinos looking for any advice

I am an authorized user on an American Express card and I like 6 months ago I was kicked off of that primary card holders plan I believe for too many disputes at least that's what I was thinking or told, and to let you know i had about 10, anyway there was a letter sent to the primary user which didn't make much sense to me, and I have might post it another time but I was wondering if anyone was familiar with having a charge backs to a online casino and if so how did that work out ? do you know if when American Express investigates what does that eail and maybe saying i dont recognize that charge is not the right answer, I mean in this case,
I did not know but I had confronted the user who made the unauthorized transactions, when they see the card number they could see the name of who created a profile, and I would never want to harm that person in anyway or get them in any kind of mess or legal situation , or any one including myself, i know that they have their own addiction problems with gambling online, I know that it's considered an enabling because i cant help them and I dont deliver on the consequences I put out there to make this stop and maybe I need to go to an ALANON to to figure that part out but that's a different story
So back to getting on track what I'm asking is if anybody knows how American Express
when they do their investigation, what is the protocol
it is kind of under the rug and i absolutely do not want to get that person in any kind of trouble and I would also not want to get my account turned off but I would want that credited back this is a revolving account so , at the next cycle it will refresh, but i dont think that should matter. I dont know what kind of restrictions will American Express have with me I already started to create a new issue when I found out I was really upset and started this process of disputes,
wanted to create a fraud claim when I discovered it last weekend, and so I backed out of the dispute though several transactions are the same merchant, i see a few did go through as disputed.AND in general does anyone know or have a resource , what do casinos do once they get the charge back? Thank you all very much

Anyone ever chargeback losses from an online Casino?

I am considering charging back a few deposits to an online casino. Has anyone done this or know stories about people doing it? It seems like it would be close to risk free. As a US resident I don't see any banks/courts/etc siding with an illegal international front organization for an online casino.
I understand this may get me blacklisted from most online casinos, but that is something that I actually want to happen.
Thoughts?

ILPT Request: Charging Back An Online Casino

Hello,
I am a degenerate gambler and over the course of the past few weeks I've I've lost a significant amount of money in online gambling from my checking account, using my debt card (not a CC). I realize I can initiate an 'unauthorized' chargeback with my bank (report the card stolen) and have a majority of the funds returned. Though, I am curious on what kind of consequences I am looking at if I do this and the bank investigates and discovers that I legitimately lost the money. I am located in the USA and in a state where online gambling is illegal. The online casino uses a 3rd party payment processor located in China.
Can I be charged with fraud? I realize I will be banned and blacklisted with the online casino. I have read some stories of online casinos turning collection agencies after you. Since it's illegal to make deposits to online casinos and participate, will the bank even care if they discover it was me? Are there any potential repercussions that I've not thought about if I move forward with this? Will the casino turn over my IP to the bank?

The Challenges Of Getting A Casino Merchant Account

If there is one thing that we learnt this year, it is that along with being extremely competitive, the casino industry is ever-growing. The introduction of technology has transformed the business entirely. It is no longer the industry that began in the 90s. Due to the emergence of e-commerce, these days, payments are preferably done via credit and debit cards. But due to the high-risk attached to the business, a casino merchant account is a compulsory requirement to enable the processing of credit and debit card payments. The changes in the market trends, laws and regulations are just some of the challenges you face when you acquire a casino merchant account online. Here are some more challenges associated with getting an online casino merchant account.
· Fraud
The rapid growth of the online gaming industry has come as a boon for business owners. However, it has also led to an increase in the number of cybercriminal activities. When you open casino merchant account, select providers that offer tools for fraud prevention. It will help enhance your business’ security and protect your customers’ data.
· Chargebacks
One of the ways to ruin your business’ reputation is chargebacks. A chargeback is the money that an online gambling company reimburses to the credit card company for a transaction that a cardholder disputes and are considered fraudulent. More chargebacks means greater losses for a casino merchant account holder.
· Bonus abuse
A common marketing trick is to provide promotional offers to new players. This is done to encourage the players to register themselves and open an account. However, the businesses are often at the losing end of this because players have resorted to creating a different account every time they play, in order to continue taking the kickbacks of the bonuses.

Preposterous customer service experience & words of warning

This is an experience regarding a credit card transaction dispute. There are a few generally useful insights here, discovered amidst my personal experience. I'll note them in bold.
I deposited $200 to an account for use in an online poker casino (the merchant), in late April.
On June 24th, the merchant notified me that Chase had charged back my $200 deposit, and as a result the merchant would be locking me out of my account. I'll keep the merchant side of the story short as it's equally preposterous, and just say that it was revealed that Chase had not conducted any such chargeback, nor had the merchant offered up any evidence that one was conducted. The merchant in fact had stolen $200 from me; maybe because they know how Chase operates and figured they'd get away with it (they did).
During my second call with Chase in August (the first being in July to verify that no chargeback had occurred), I had a seemingly harmless discussion with Tier I customer service, wherein we discussed whether I should continue trying to work with the merchant to get evidence of the transaction or lack thereof (how do you get evidence of a transaction not occurring?) During this discussion I apparently made two grave mistakes: 1) I assumed that the rep was not going to make any significant or destructive changes to the status of my dispute without clearing explaining the repercussions of such changes; and 3) I assumed I didn't need my lawyer on the phone to talk to my own f'ing bank.
What I later found out in September when I called again, was that the rep on the August call had marked my dispute "resolved", even though we spent the entire time talking about how the merchant was not providing any evidence nor being timely in their (useless) responses. I don't know why she marked it resolved. I don't know whether I passively agreed to it because I didn't know the repercussions, or whether I just said "ok" in the midst of her mumbling a bunch of words, but clearly, there had been no resolution at that time and the rep was aware that I was still pursuing the issue and still needed Chase to be involved. The only reason I wasn't pushing Chase to move forward was because I was being told I should continue to try to work with the merchant (the merchant who knowingly stole from me).
The TL;DR of this is that I did what Chase suggested in order to be as helpful to the dispute process as possible, and in doing so, lost my dispute right then and there. How? Because Chase will only field a dispute within 118 days of the transaction -- and Chase chose to mark the dispute resolved at roughly 110 days in. They did this while I was in the middle of helping them gather evidence for the dispute, and without informing me that as a result I would only have a few days left to file a "new" dispute of the same exact nature. So of course, not knowing the dispute was marked resolved nor that I had a limited window to file a new dispute, I continued on contacting the merchant under the illusion that I was gathering support for my/Chase's case.
To be clear on the timeline: - My initial transaction: Late April - "Ghost" chargeback transaction: late June or sometime prior (merchant never disclosed a date) - My initial dispute filing regarding the ghost chargeback: early July - My follow-up: Mid August - My subsequent follow-up: Early September
That last line item -- my September follow-up call to Chase after having gathered nothing but wild diversions from the merchant -- turned out to be useless because unbeknownst to me, the dispute was "resolved" in August and I was now outside the dispute window, so everything was over. But again... I didn't know that yet.
I called up and got another Tier I rep, who at first had trouble understanding why this transaction could even be disputed -- she believed that since I paid money and got access to poker games, services had been rendered. I assume Redditors are intelligent enough to understand why this isn't true, but happy to explain in the comments if there's any doubt. Short version is that $200 was deposited as a means of having a bankroll, i.e. the digital version of having your wallet with you when you walk into a real casino. Your wallet isn't the casino's money. The "services" rendered by depositing any amount of money into an online casino bankroll is perpetual access to that money, either for use in playing their games or for use in withdrawing because you're done playing. It's just another bank account.
Anyway: the rep also mentioned the whole "this dispute was resolved" angle during my explanation of the services, which sounded odd but as part of the overall frustration, just led me to think I need to talk to another rep or a supervisor who better understands these factors. That's when I was transferred to Jessica, a supervisor.
Jessica proceeded to tell me, with robotic resolve and a splash of snark, that the actual problem was that I was pursuing a dispute that no longer existed, per the user agreement I should have memorized and been able to successfully apply knowledge of on the fly during my customer service calls (i.e., I should've had a lawyer on the phone for all these calls. This is what lawyers get paid to do, not customers). When I challenged her and said "I never agreed to resolve the dispute in August", she read me the "notes" of the August call, which simply said that the dispute had been marked resolved. That's it.
I then asked Jessica to get the transcript of the customer service call in question. This is apparently a request that a) cannot be handled in real-time, b) does not suffice as a challenge to the dispute's current status, c) does not come with any form of reference/tracking # for the customer and cannot be inquired about, d) does not have a timeline or available follow-up date, and e) does not deliver any documented outcome to the customer, unless Chase sees fit to follow up after having reviewed the transcript.
The icing on the cake, which is important considering how obvious it now is to me that you need a lawyer whenever you talk to Chase, is that I just received a notice dated Sept 10th stating that the dispute was resolved because services were rendered. Again, and paraphrasing, I was told:
"The dispute was resolved in August (no reason given), and now the transaction is outside the 118-day window and cannot be disputed".
I received:
"The dispute was just resolved now after your September call, wherein we had told you the dispute was resolved in August. Furthermore, it was resolved for a reason other than the one we told you."
Thanks for reading, and get a lawyer.

Casino merchant accounts are widely applicable to the gambling industry too. Substantial levels of risk i.e. charge backs, refunds, frauds, etc. is also associated with Casino merchant accounts along with sizeable revenue options. The risky factor associated with Casino Merchant Account is the reason why most traditional financial institutions and banks offering merchant account services are hesitant to deal with casino e-merchants, as they consider such circumstances inappropriate.

The excitement and thrills of a casino are simply phenomenal; with improved technology, one can enjoy the same adrenalin rush sitting in the comfort of your own home. There are now over 4000 online casino games available.
We all know that gambling at a casino comes with its share of risks. The same dangers apply even to casino games that are played online. Other than that, online casino brings along with them the risks of online monetary transactions. For this, it is essential to สมัคร GCLUB (Apply for GCLUB) only with well-known and reliable websites that offer a secured payment platform. One must steer away from shady looking online casino sites or apps even if they seem far more lucrative or make big promises.

Here are a few tips from that come handy while playing casino games online

Choose your online casino wisely

Choosing an online casino is like choosing ice-cream. You are kind of stuck with it until you finish up. But as mentioned above, choosing a legitimate online casino is important. These casinos are known to have fair games where everyone has an equal chance of winning. The shady sites are often manipulated and reduce the chances of a fair game. Look out for casino sites that have a good reputation, like Zodiac Casino. You can find some of the best Zodiac Casino bonuses when you sign up.
You can also have a look at the license of the casino and check if it is from a valid government authority. In the case of Zodiac, they are regulated by the online Gaming Commission.

Online casino gifts and bonuses

To attract gamblers, many online casinos offer various freebies. These could include things like a welcome package, several bonuses, free spins, promotional offers as well as gifts; make the most of these gifts and bonuses. You need not hesitate to assume these are tricks; these very often are actually to serve their purpose. It is doing to outdo other competitors and attract more clients to their site. Take advantage of these bonuses. Pay particular attention to the casinos offering free spins no wagering requirements - they are like gold dust!

Choose the banking options

Online casinos require you to first create an account and then deposit real money into these accounts. This could be potentially dangerous and so before you deposit any real money it is best to check for the banking options. Some of the genuine payment options include credit card, debit card, online payments, pre-pay cards and even money transfers are valid. It’s a good sign if the online casino has all the major payment options. But remember, credit card companies do not allow chargebacks on gambling activity.

Choose the online casino game strategically

Being an online forum, you cannot see the people you are dealing with. Plus, there are a huge number of games to be played. And so, it is best to go through all the options and choose an online casino wisely where you know your way around and the fact that your opponent is virtual does not matter.

FunFair Tokenomics 2020 - FunFair's FUN token and how it aligns incentives across 6 distinct groups of stakeholders to create a compelling gaming platform

FunFair has come a long way since I started following the team in 2017, recently adding a Japanese casino (the fourth casino now in the network), in-wallet purchase of FUN with credit/debit cards, the removal of the need for ETH to cover gas charges, browser and device-independent play, an easy to use wallet and a raft of new games.
Unlike many crypto projects where tokens were seen primarily as a fund-raising approach, the FUN token provides significant utility by coordinating the activities and incentives of the six stakeholder types within the FunFair ecosystem:
  1. FUN Token Holders
  2. Casino Players
  3. Affiliates and Referral Partners
  4. Licensed Operators and White Labels (Casinos)
  5. Game Developers
  6. Gaming Regulators
For me, the FUN token is THE perfect example of a project where the token has significant utility in aligning incentives across disparate stakeholders and is a poster child for effective tokenomics.
Here's my personal view on the value propositions and incentives for each of these groups:

FUN Token Holders

Casino Players

Affiliate and Referral Partners

Licensed Operators and White Labels (Casinos)

Game Developers

Gaming Regulators

As you can see, the value to each stakeholder is considerable - especially when compared to the current legacy technology - which is why I'm bullish that FunFair will be successful in achieving its mission of truly reinventing this industry.
What do you think? Do you see other value props? Let me know and I'll add them to the list!

Best Way to Recover Money Lost in Casino

Go ahead and type “I lost all my money at the casino” on a random search engine. You will see hundreds of results – this is one of the common search phrases of all gamblers. We all play, we all win, but we also all lose: Lost money at casino is a situation that will happen to you too sooner or later.

Since we cannot escape from it, let’s try to look at this problem from different angles: Why did we lost a lot of money at casino? How can we cope with lost money at casino situation? And more importantly, how to get back money lost at casino, is it possible? In this article, you will find the answers to these questions and more.
Why You Lose Money at the Casino
Casinos can be a great pastime. They have something for everyone. If the thrill of spinning slots isn’t your thing, maybe you’d prefer doubling down at the blackjack table. When you win, it feels awesome; that’s the appeal that brings people to the casinos in the first place.
While it’s fun to win, we all have our losing streaks. Sometimes we lose a lot. I once lost $100 in 10 minutes at a video poker machine. We’ve all heard of the house edge, but is it possible to increase your own edge? We’re about to shed some light on the situation. With a little luck, you’ll be able to turn your fortune around. Here’s why you lose money at the casino.
Your Bankroll Management Isn’t What It Should Be: Managing your bankroll is the most important thing you can do at the casino. We all want to bet big on the games. After all, the bigger the bet, the bigger the win. The problem is you can’t guarantee a win every time. You can’t even guarantee a win every dozen games. If you have a bankroll of $60 and lose three $20 bets, you just blew through your whole budget in two minutes.
Take into consideration how long you want to play. If you’ve got a bankroll of $60, why not split it into smaller bets of $1 per hand? At least this way, you’ll get to play 60 rounds and stand a stronger chance of winning. The rewards may be smaller, but you’ll get a lot more entertainment playing two hours than two minutes.
You’re Playing the Wrong Games: This may seem like a silly thing to say, but you might be playing the wrong games. If you’re losing every time, you might want to try something new.
When you’re selecting a casino game, it’s important to consider the house edge. In general, finding a game with a lower house edge gives you better chance of winning. If you’re used to luck-based games like slots or roulette, you might want to try skill-based games like blackjack or video poker.
In fact, video poker is a really good choice for machine players. Slot machines can vary in regard to house edge, ranging between a low of 5% and a high of 30%. With Jacks or Better video poker, you will recover 99.54% of your money throughout your lifetime. Add in a lifetime of comped drinks, and you’ve made out like a bandit.
You’re Using a Failing Strategy: Many people search for casino game strategies. You’ve probably done it yourself at one time or another. The problem with a lot of strategies is that you either have to be an expert player with a spreadsheet of numbers in your head, or you need a massive bankroll.
Don’t fall into the mindset of thinking, “Well, if I use this system, it’s bound to work in the end.” We do not recommend counting cards or increasing your bet after every loss. Unless you’re a billionaire with a near-unlimited bankroll, those are losing strategies. Unless you have unlimited money, you cannot beat the house, period.
Casinos know these strategies don’t work. You can almost see the curt smile on the dealer’s face as you double your bet again and again. Instead of using a strategy like this, manage your bankroll in the ways noted earlier. Be smart about it.
You’re Trying Too Hard to Regain Losses: While there are some skill-based games, casinos are all about luck. You’re going to suffer losses along the way. Even professional gamblers cannot guarantee they’ll always win, because gambling relies on a certain amount of luck. Don’t let a loss or a losing streak get to you.
It’s common for players to suffer a loss and then start throwing out higher bets without thinking. You need to remain logical and, again, manage your bankroll effectively. Casino gaming should be fun. If you get angry or stressed, it’s time to stop. Don’t throw away everything you have left in an attempt to get even. It’s not going to work. Never has, never will.
Cope With Gambling and Casino Loss
Coping with gambling loss can be challenging, especially if you are a beginner. Believe it or not, this can be as hard as grieving for the loss of a relative. In order to cope with your gambling losses, you must first accept that losing is perfectly normal while gambling. Everybody loses, even professional players. So accepting that losing money gambling is not the end of the world is important: This happens to every player out there. But if this is especially hard for you and you feel an urge to keep gambling, you may have an addiction problem. In this case:
Stop gambling immediately. There is no such thing as “less gambling” for addicts. You must stop gambling, period. Take advantage of the responsible gaming practices of online casinos. You can put self-exclusions on your account and limit your budget, game time, and even the game categories you can play. Use these tools to limit yourself.
Do not try to cover your losses by playing more games. We said “stop gambling” for a reason. The majority of addicts keep gambling because they think that “playing one more game will cover all of their losses”. This is wrong and a dangerous approach. If you continue to gamble, you may lose more: There is no guarantee that you will win this time. And continuing the same habit will just make the problem bigger.
Face the consequences. Losing money at gambling will have lots of consequences, especially if you surpassed your budget. Your stress levels will increase and you will have problems in relations with your loved ones. Almost 99% of addicts try to hide their losses but this will just make everything worse. Talk to your loved ones, make sure they know about the situation, and face the consequences. Yes, it will be hard but it is mandatory: Recognizing your problem and sharing it with your loved ones is the first (and most important) step of coping with gambling losses.
Get professional help if needed. No matter where you live, you can find an organization that is ready to help you with your problem. It can be Gamblers Anonymous, Gam Care, or Problem Gambling CA – there are professionals out there who are ready to help you, free of charge. Join one of these programs and don’t hesitate to ask for help.
Once again, the suggestions above apply to addicts – not casual gamblers. If you are fine with the fact that losing is a part of gambling and there is no way to avoid it, there is no problem: As long as you respect your budget and control yourself, gambling can be a fun hobby.
Will A Casino Give Your Money Back?
And now, let’s continue with the obvious question: How to recover lost money from casino? Is this possible? Can you still take something back for lost money at casino?
The short answer is no. And you already know this: No casino (or online casino) will refund your money just because you lost. Remember that these are called “games of chance” for a reason. The operators do not guarantee any winnings and you cannot take your losses back. Do you go to the betting booth after losing a sports bet and ask for your money back? It is the same principle: Lost money online casino (or land-based casino) won’t be refunded, period.
There is only one scenario in which the answer to how to recover lost money in casino question is yes: Fraud. If your account is hacked and a third party used your balance to play games, then yes, the casino may choose to refund your losses. However:
This is not mandatory. The casino may not choose to refund your losses even if you can prove that your account is hacked. Proving a hack is harder than you think. The majority of players who lost try to use this excuse, and we do not know even a single case where the casino accepted a hack really happened.
Hire a Funds Recovery Expert: Best Way to Recover Lost Money At Casino
You may be tempted to use a chargeback. But you know how chargeback option works: If you used a credit card to pay for something, you can always put a chargeback order and get your money back – as long as you did not receive the goods. In this case, the refund is done by the bank itself, not the merchant. So, is this a way to recover lost money at casino?
Simply put, no. Chargeback feature is useful, but only if you did not receive something for the payment you made. When such a claim is issued, the payment provider asks the merchant to send the proof of delivery. If you purchase a PC, for example, and the seller cannot prove that the delivery is made, sure, you can get your money back. Only a funds recovery expert will be able to help you recover money lost in casino.
Only a Funds Recovery Expert Can Help You Recover Your Money
The same thing goes for e-wallet payments too. They are even pickier than the banks, and we do not know of a single case where the e-wallet provider accepted the chargeback claim for gambling losses.
Overall, the best method that works everytime is hiring a Funds Recovery Expert, and the funds recovery expert we have personally used and recommend is - [email protected]. The answer to how to recover lost money in casino question is still “you can’t”. Use the chargeback bonus if you want constant refunds – that’s the only thing you can do. Online poker company withholding my money, despite my providing numerous idenfication

Was wondering if I could get some help with a sticky situation (and yes, I know the sin that is gambling, but I only play poker, recreationally, am up in net worth in my lifetime of playing it, know my limits, and have no form of addiction to gambling whatsoever).
So I opened an account with Poker Company A a few days ago. I tried depositing £50 in to my account, with the explicit message that after trying to deposit, "this transaction can not be processed", I try again, and get the same message. However, I then notice two notifications from the bank whose card I used on my mobile, saying that both transactions DID go through. Mistake #1 from Online Poker Company. I was lucky to have the bank app installed, otherwise I would've probably tried like 2-3 more times.
Right after, my account got disabled. I emailed Poker Company A asking why, and they mentioned that I had a previous account (which I have forgotten about), which was against their ToC, but they said that they simply deleted my old account. My account was shortly open again after. I then withdrew £50, as that transaction was duplicated thanks to their software's mistake.
However, when I tried to play a game, my account then gets disabled again, due to their "routine checks". They email me asking for a copy of driving license and bank statement, I provide. However, they then mention that it doesn't match the name I provided them. They then keep referring me to the name I used on my old account, which I had changed by deed poll.
They then proceed to ask for further verification, including me holding my driving ID in front of my face, and a copy of my deed poll. I provide both, and now they're saying the deed poll can't be accepted, as it isn't "notarised", which is completely ridiculous. My deed poll was made at a solicitor, has a solicitor's signature, has my signature, and was accepted by the Passport Office and Barclays when I went to change my name on them respectively.
I think they're honestly taking the piss now and I don't even want to play on their servers anymore. They're asking for another proof of name change which I don't have (I don't know anyone who has two documents for a name change), but I don't understand why they are even referring me to my old name, which was used on my old account in the first place. The name I registered on my new account is the name on my passport, driving license, bank statement etc.
I'm tempted to just contact my bank now and ask them for a chargeback for the remaining £50 I have left in my account with them. Would I be justified in doing this?

Question about Casino Affiliate

Hello everyone,
i've been playing online casino on my twitch account for a while now and in the last days some casinos have contacted me to become an affilate for their casino. In short they offer between 25-40% of the net revenue that users promoted by me are earning in their casinos.
Has anyone already had experiences with this kinda affilate programs? Is it trustworthy?
I am kinda confused with all the "economic words" like "net revenue". Can someone explain to me what I am actually looking at? I've read in some online forums that net revenue means something like
= Bets - Wins - 20% Admin Fee* – Paid Bonuses** – Transaction Costs & Chargebacks - 15-20% Gambling Tax
Is Bets = Wager? And Wins = what he has actually left on his account?
So if someone wagered 2000€, won 500€ and paid 100€ Bonus I have to calculate it like this: 2000€ - 500€ - 200€ - 100€ - 20€ (Transaction for example) - 200€ (Tax) = 980€ Net Revenue?

Thanks a lot and sorry for all the questions

Tired of people earning money from my content....the journey starts today

Sorry. This is an exceedingly long, unedited post of tired rambling. I didn't anticipate it being this long. Kudos if you read it through to the end.
I am a freelance writer. I have been for about 5-6 years. I absolutely love the job. It is just that I haven't had a single day in those 6 years where I haven't written something or communicated with a client. Without going into detail, I am tired of what a few of my clients are willing to put me through. It takes a toll on your mental health. I don't want to go into details on that, but I would say about 10% of my clients are the perfect clients. The other 90%...oh my. I am sick of it.
Recently, I have found out that a good number of my clients are using only my content. This is fantastic. I love to be the sole writer on a website. I get to see it grow from infancy, and I am allowed to inject my own writing style into everything. I have never been a person that enjoys following what other people have written. It doesn't allow my personality to shine through in the writing.
Anyway, around 3 of my clients who solely use my content for their projects make a 'full-time living' through affiliate marketing. We aren't talking a 'full-time living' in one of the cheaper countries. We are talking full-time living in London.
I know that content isn't the only component when it comes to successful affiliate marketing. It is still a major component, though. The way I see it is that the content I produce is the last thing a person sees before they get a conversion. Send as much traffic as you like to my content, but it is my content that pushes people over the finish line. Hell, I was one of 40 writers working for one of the largest personal injury lawyers in England & Wales, and my content converted the highest. Although, that was mostly because I was the only writer who had any form of legal training, and thus could write something which sounded rather professional.
I know I could sit back and continue to churn out content for my clients. It is a decent income. I can survive in Sweden on it. But I want more. I want the ability to sit back and relax on occasion. I don't want the fear of my phone ringing at 3:00 am, or the fear of PayPal chargebacks.
I know it sounds a little bit bitter this, but I feel that my content has real value. Even if I upped my prices, I could probably still earn a whole lot more from it on my own. I really do love my clients. I am not going to ditch many of them. I am just tired of working for somebody else.
I don't care if income from affiliate marketing doesn't end up paying the bills. It would be nice. However, if affiliate marketing meant that I could cut back on even 10% of my daily freelance writing work, it would be bloody brilliant.
My experience with affiliate marketing
I have a bit of experience with affiliate marketing. Obviously, I have been producing content for major companies, and thus I am familiar with some of the technicalities. I can write reviews that convert. I can write informational posts that can go viral on social media. I am 100% familiar with the content side of things, right down to content research. I would produce all my own content here. No outsourcing.
I have generated a few sales via Amazon Associates. This was a personal project of mine. A product which was previously unavailable in the UK was launched. I was the first to spot it. I quickly put together a website. Picked me up a domain name. Threw maybe 10-15 pages of content up on a website. The whole process took about 10 hours. At around 8 am in the morning, I mentioned the news on Reddit in the sub dedicated to this product. Linked right to the news page. Done the same on social media. Within 4 hours, I had around 10 conversions. Pocketed me a cool £200.
Google AdSense, I currently have £7.43 in my account. Not 100% sure why. I am guessing this is from when I parked a few domains a while back.
How I am going to do this
The majority of my clients are in either casinos or porn. I will not work with either. It is unfair to step on the toes of my clients. They have helped to get me where I am today. Sucks I won't be able to see the sweet lifetime recurring commissions from casinos, though.
Thankfully, I already have a few websites built up. 7 of them, in fact. I estimate that they have about 20-30 articles on each of them. No site has under 30,000 words in content.
Why do I have so many sites? Well, because I have this 'live portfolio' thing going. Rather than just link to Google Drive to show my articles, I decided to put them online in a live environment. For some reason, I was able to get more conversions in certain niches when I did this. People loved seeing the content I produced 'live', and this was the only way I could do it. Obviously, I couldn't share articles I had ghostwritten.
All of my sites are in different niches. I will likely try to monetize all of them at some point. They have been kicking around for a few years with regular content refreshes. A couple of them have generated a few backlinks too. They seem to be quality backlinks, which I guess is a good thing.
Since I already budget myself time each day to 'expand' my portfolio (or give the live sites a content refresh), transitioning these sites to be money generators shouldn't take long (well, the actual generating money part will). It should also be easy to find the time to add content to the websites. If I juggle some things around, I believe I can find the time to provide each site with 2-3 substantial articles per week. Well-written. I already work 12-hours a day, so what is a couple more?
One of my clients regularly gets interviewed in the media for her niche (she is one of the big earners), and I am regularly brought up in her interviews. I am thinking that I will able to leverage this in some way, but I am not sure how to at the moment. The name check helps, and it helps to point out my freelance website, but I don't want those links to point there. I have some ideas as to how to make this work but will need to chat with my client.
I work with an SEO expert. While he initially wanted to work on these projects with me 'as a team', we eventually opted against it. Instead, I am going to provide him with free content and he will provide SEO services in exchange. Obviously, he won't be able to do all my SEO. I will likely be reaching out to past clients of mine, offering free content in exchange for a link. I am fairly confident a decent number will say yes.
I know a lot of you will say 7 sites is a lot to work on at once. It probably is. But, I am always up for a challenge.
It begins now
So, I am sitting here at 2:40 am. My journey starts now. Not when I wake up. Now. Already done the following for each of my sites:
- Yoast
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
I have also done the basics of keyword research and have generated a few ideas for content on each of the websites. I will get started on the research for a major informational post now, and then put together some content tomorrow.
I am hoping this little project goes well. If I can make something within the next 3-months, it will be fantastic.

How can I get myself banned from online casinos to end this addiction?

Hi there,
This is the first time I posted on reddit and first time I am truly admitting my gambling problem. I have been online gambling for 8 years, im almost 29 now and started in college. I have a solid job and come from a fortunate family. I hid this for years from everyone until I recently admitted it to my mother and brother. This was a few months ago, and I recently began playing again without their knowledge. I have gambled away at least 200k over the past 8 years and it could be more. I live far away from any real casinos(go once a year on vacation) so that isn't the problem. I have asked every website to ban me and delete my account, but it works until my next binge when they reinstate the account. Is there a way for me to get blacklisted from online casinos? it would really change my life for the better, especially with this economic crisis from coronavirus. Should I request a chargeback in order to be banned? I am not looking to recover this money, just get out for good? please help as I feel petty hopeless at the moment.
Stay healthy and safe

Why would any casino adopt FF when it brings a guaranteed level or trust to a player

Now I have no evidence that a casino cheats, anywhere or ever but i'm happy to believe it happens a lot. You don't get filthy rich by playing by the rules
Let's assume that casinos have been cheating undetected for years. Why would they want to adopt a system that removes their ability to swing the odds in their favour? It's like trying to sell a paper crowbar to a house burgular
If you don't believe that casinos ever swing odds to their favour, without revealing this, then I guess my post is nonsense to you
